Inspired by centuries of tradition, Artist Wuon-Gean Ho’s design for this first coin in a new series features a dynamic horse that unites Chinese symbols and customs with British heritage.

A first from The Royal Mint, these are the premier legal tender Lunar coins struck for the United Kingdom and they begin an auspicious series: The Shēngxiào Collection, named to honour the Chinese zodiac.
